Future Education and Careers
Students in Year 11 are NOW in the process of using UCAS Progress to research and apply online to their various choices for next year. You can access this site and using the student log in and password given. Parents might like to support their young people with presenting themselves and discuss their ideas for college/apprenticeships next year. There is plenty of support here in school but clearly parents like to be involved in this important process too.
The site enables the student to do all their research from the one site, providing links straight through to the college websites, details of courses and contacts and travel arrangements. Once the research is complete, Open Days visited, the application process is completed from the same site.
Use the UCAS Progress Search to see details of different courses, training programmes and providers, and the ones closest to where you live.
